Bathtub Letters teaches letter recognition, spelling, and reading, using letters that are similar to those my daughter plays with in the bathtub, and using voice-overs of preschool aged kids.
Listen to the letters be spoken by my four year old daughter as they are dragged from the scrolling palette and stuck onto the tile wall.
Bathtub Letters also now recognizes and speaks words spelled on the tile wall, from a list of many of the first words kids commonly learn to spell. Letters do not necessarily need to be placed in a straight line. Bathtub Letters will evaluate the intention of the child by matching the letters in close proximity to each other to its list of known words. If a match is found, the voices of several preschool aged kids will cheerfully read the word out loud.
Bathtub Letters additionally teaches kids to alphabetize as they search through the scrolling palette for the letter they are interested in, learning the order of the letters in the alphabet along the way.
Your child will also have fun listening to the ABCs song and singing along.
PLANNED ENHANCEMENTS INCLUDE

FEEDBACK
Thanks for all of the constructive feedback you have sent me to date. Please continue to email your feedback and ideas to me at [email protected] to help me evolve this program and make it more engaging and entertaining for your children and mine.
KNOWN ISSUE - MY SINCERE APOLOGIES
I apparently didnt include the recording for the word tall in the latest version. When the word tall is spelled, Bathtub Letters attempts to play this word and then closes when it cant find the recording. Please avoid spelling the word tall until the version including this word is available.
MY OTHER APP - KIDCALC
KidCalc is my other popular app in the iTunes App Store. KidCalc teaches math to toddlers, preschool, and early elementary school aged children.
KidCalc was the number 1 education app during October and was featured by Apple in the Whats Hot list. In celebration of this I have reduced the price of KidCalc by 50%.
KidCalc is now four apps in one, including:
* Animated flash cards
* Addition and subtraction math drills
* Counting game with numbers, icons, or both
* Animated calculator
Search for KidCalc in the App Store and check out its description and screen shots! As always, email me with feedback, thoughts, suggestions or support requests at [email protected].
